Our LAAS member's outreach team went to the Chilao campgrounds to support their night sky public star party and viewing program for two separate youth scout programs. Temperatures dropped to 46 degrees Farenheit, but we layered up and enjoyed the dark sky conditions. We saw Saturn, Mars, Venus, Neptune, M13, M15, the Ring Planetary Nebula, Dumbell Nebula, Andromeda Galaxy, Double Double quadruple stars, Albireo binary stars, Double cluster and then some of our members stayed behind at the end of the event to enjoy other targets after 10pm.
