Event

The Garvey Ranch Observatory is open to the public every Wednesday evening from 7:30 PM to 10 PM. Go into the dome to use the 8 Inch Refractor or observe through one of our telescopes on the lawn. Visit our workshop to learn how you can build your own telescope, grind your own mirror,  or sign up for our free seasonal astronomy classes.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Several members used the refractor in the dome while other members enjoyed working on their scopes in the workshop. Many members enjoyed conversation in the front room below the observatory, too.
