An annular solar eclipse in the Southwest U.S. will be visible as a partial eclipse here in Ohio. Schoonover Observatory will be open for the eclipse with viewing through the telescope(s) if the weather cooperates and possible viewing live streaming from other locations if we are clouded out.
Events in October and into the Spring may have some changes as there may be contractors working in and around the observatory. Some events may be conducted on the lawn with portable telescopes or moved to another location temporarily.
