Join fellow Moon enthsuiasts and take part in this exciting world-wide celebration of lunar science and exploration! Free event and Registration is not required. Members of the Lake County Astronomical Society will be on hand with a number of powerful telescopes through which guests can observe the Moon. View craters, Mare (oceans of lava that have not been geologically active for many millions of years), and other features. Find out where the Apollo landing sites were.

Pre-Party and Activities will include fun and educational activities such as: Create a Crater, Asteroid Toss, Moon Rock Exploration Station, Moon Landing, Survival Challenge: Favorite Moon Memories and more. Please join us.
