Wednesday June 29, 2022 7:00 pm Join us for the Winslow Public Library Summer Reading Program "NASA @ My Library (https://www.winslowaz.gov/departments/library/summer_reading_program.php) and the Winslow Homolovi Observatory for a night under the stars. Guest Speaker Barry Malpas will open the program with "When I was a kid, there were nine planets." Join the staff of Homolovi State Park and volunteers of the Winslow Homolovi Observatory - Little Colorado River Valley Astronomy Club for a fun filled night under a canopy of stars. June 29 is a New Moon, the moon is located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. We will be exploring deep space nebulas, distant galaxies, star clusters and the planet Saturn.
