Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had a good night at Mullet Hall although the dew was pretty heavy and the seeing was just okay. We got some good views of Saturn and 3 of her moons and then Jupiter, which came up towards the end of our session. We had a lot of telescopes checking out deep sky objects and got some great images from the Electronically Assisted Astronomy telescopes. Lewis had his Sky Window binocular mirror setup and shared views of the Pleiades, the Orion Nebula and a lot of other targets. Meteors from the Geminids meteor shower were seen towards the end of the night. We had great attendance of 12 members and 20 visitors.
