Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had 3 members at the park with 2 telescopes and the Night Sky Network Exploring the Solar Systeme display set up. It was fairly cloudy before sunset, but cleared up nicely. We had about 20 visitors come by, most of them staying for the entire session. We were not able to see Venus or Mercury, as both set early along with the Sun in the nicely painted clouds on the horizon . We did get nice views of Jupiter, the Orion Nebula and the Crab Nebula. Visitors were able to see each object visually through the telescope and also as a stacked color image through the eV-scope that was was set up.
