Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
The comet has diminished, it’s now high in the sky and very dim. As a result, tonight’s count of visitors also diminished a bit with only 10 people showing up. We had 4 members out with 3 telescopes set up. Just after sunset we were able to catch a glimpse of Mercury, then Venus shown brightly as the sky darkened. Saturn also put on a great show for visitors. We did get to show the comet in a 6” SCT telescope but it appeared more as a faint fuzzy than a clear comet with a tail. It remained clear to around 8:30PM when clouds rolled in.
