Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had a great outing tonight at the Johns Island County Park Family Camp Jam. The sky cleared up and the Moon was sitting nicely in the southern sky even though there were heavier clouds everywhere else. High clouds did finally move in to veil the moon around 9:00pm. There were six members, 4 telescopes / 2 binoculars, and close to 50 visitors. Lots of kids. We were the hit of this program.
