Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Members and visitors enjoyed a crystal-clear night at Mullet Hall. We had 20 guests and 7 members in attendance. Highlights of the evening were a nice quarter Moon, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter. We also were able to see the Q shape on the lunar surface. A first for many of us. Saturn's rings are now almost edge on. Jupiter's moon Europa was behind the planet and then popped out giving us a grand view of all 4 moons the evening of opposition. Thanks to all the members who brought scopes out, we had quite an array of sizes and types.
