Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had another great presentation by Professor Emeritus Rudi Lindner. This rime it was about the history of star classification based on spectra and some of the misunderstandings about what color indicated. We were almost 15 minutes late getting started due to a series if issues with the A/V system in the room. We were meeting in the Duderstadt building this month and discovered the system was very different than what we have at the Detroit Observatory. We had kind help from a building front desk person, but even he was challenged getting the system tamed. Once it settled in it worked very well both in the room and for the remote attendees. We had 20 in-person attendees and 6 via Zoom.
