Join us for the May 2024 monthly meeting of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society at the Dale Etheridge Planetarium.

This month, we will have a live remote presentation from the another continent, thanks to our friends at Planetarium Cusco in Cusco, Peru! They will be sharing with us a presentation about Southern Hemisphere constellations and sights, as well as how the Andean people have understood the skies, from the Inkas to modern day.

Planetarium Cusco is one of the most unique planetariums in the world. It is a family-run science center nestled in the hills above Cusco, Peru, next to the famed archeological site Sacsayhuaman. Planetarium Cusco includes the dome with presentations, an interpretive center, and visual observation for guests.
