Our guest and featured speaker is Steven Rosenthal, a northern California amateur astronomer, inventor and entrepreneur. Steven has an M.S. degree in astronomy from Pennsylvania State University and was deeply involved in creating key functionality of the Rossi X-Ray Timing Explorer. His presentation will include an overview of historically available and emerging technologies that help amateur astronomers point their telescopes accurately, plus a live demonstration of a new, soon-to-be available telescope-pointing tool.
