Telescope workshop 101 is designed to provide personalized assistance on how to operate your telescope.
These workshops are taught by an experienced amateur astronomer familiar with the various types of telescopes and accessories required for a first-time experience observing the night sky.

We have general meetings on the first Thursday of each month, September - May with a Guest Speaker in Room LS-205. Check our calendar for more info. We also hold many Telescope Training Workshops & Public Star Parties at this location in G-147 on the campus by the Telescope Dome.

Notes:
Outdoor events at PVCC are WEATHER PERMITTING. Most events may be canceled if the ground is wet from a storm the night before, or currently raining, or predicted to rain, or if winds / gusts are above 10mph. To be sure event is happening, call Terri 602-561-5398 around 4pm on the day of the event. Some events require Public RSVP to happen.
