Jeff Menz, past President of River Bend Astronomy Club, will explain the different types of eclipses and why they occur sometimes but not others. His presentation is highlighted by photos, and capped with video of the 2017 total solar eclipse. He will discuss eclipse viewing safety, what to look for during an eclipse, and best locations to view eclipse on April 8, 2024. Eclipse glasses will be handed out at this presentation.
