Come join us for the Perseid Meteor Shower Watch, the largest star party of the year, at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) on Saturday, August 12! Star enthusiasts from all over the Pacific Northwest will gather at Rooster Rock State Park at 9 p.m. to marvel at the captivating Perseid Meteor Shower. OMSI, Rose City Astronomers, and Oregon Parks and Recreations are proud sponsors of the event, providing telescopes for attendees to use and OMSI staff will give informative talks about constellations, the meteor shower, and the summer sky.
