The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society is hosting its annual International Astronomy Day celebration on Saturday, May 3rd at Rainbow Park Observatory at 301 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho (Behind Rainbow Pool).   Jim Greenhouse, Space Science Director of the NM Museum of Natural History and Science will present the latest findings of NASA Solar Missions.  There will be family activities for all ages including sun and star gazing, weather permitting.  Food will be available for a donation.

Activities begin at 5:00 pm with the Solar Missions talk starting at 7:30.  It is free and open to the public.
