The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society is hosting its annual National Astronomy Day celebration on Saturday, April 25th, at Rainbow Park Observatory at 301 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho (behind Rainbow Pool).  Our guest speaker is Ala Gabryszewska-Kukawa, professor of astronomy at CNM, who will talk about “Comets”.   There will be family activities for all ages including sun and star gazing, weather permitting.  Hot dogs, chips and sodas will be available for a donation.

 

Activities begin at 6:00 pm with the Comets talk starting at 7:30.  It is free and open to the public.
