Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Jim's summary: telescope observing of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Lots of kids, in part due to a home-schooling program. Refreshments were served. Jeff and Jim talked up the upcoming star party at Quail Hollow. It was pretty close to 40 degrees when we broke up around 9ish. Lots of local Bonny-Dooners. Quite an event. Jeff's summary: discussions about Gallean moons, venus' phase, Saturn’s tilt, ecliptic path to find the planets, star formation within Orion nebula, Newtonian telescope design. about 7 scopes including Dobs and SCT goto's. Jim brought his Seestar for some "eye candy" members: 7 total (Jim,Jeff, TerryD, RickN,)+ JohanT, Jeff Rossini(not current), Martin Gaskill,
