The Carolina Skygazers astronomy club meets on the second Tuesday of each month, except December, at 7:30 pm at the Museum of York County in Rock Hill, SC. We would love to have you join us! The Museum doors open at 7 pm. Exhibits and all other spaces except for meeting areas are closed. Meetings of the Carolina Skygazers are always free for members and prospective members. We began the evening with a presentation by high school student Feliks Rogotskiy on photons and phonons and how they can contribute to technology, then discussed observation opportunities and what is visible in the night sky between August and September.
