Event

Skyscrapers Seagrave Memorial Observatory will be open for public observing.

What's a star party??

The short answer is that it's a bunch of people bringing telescopes, binoculars or just their eyeballs together and collectively offering an opportunity to sample a wide variety of telescopes and different eyepieces, and to see a bunch of deep sky objects all at the same place and time. Plus....it's just a lot of fun! A star party!!

We have scheduled a Skyscrapers' Star Party once a month for the next few months; all to be held at Seagrave Memorial Observatory.

We are trying to present a different experience on these dates. While we plan to have someone stationed by the Clark telescope to talk about it and its history to anyone interested, we will not be opening any of our other buildings on these dates.
