The ringed jewel of our Solar System will be at its best this evening!
Saturn will be in the evening sky through February 2026. It’ll emerge in the morning sky in April. It’ll reach opposition on October 4. All planets at opposition are always opposite the sun. They rise in the east at sunset and are visible all night. So after its October 4 opposition, for the rest of 2026, Saturn will remain easily visible in the evening sky. It’ll finally disappear in the sunset glare in March 2027.
