Solar Eclipse Viewing at Jefferson College Observatory

Event

Special Solar Eclipse Event: We will host a solar eclipse viewing event on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 10:30 am to 1:30pm.
During the event, the dome and 16-inch telescope will be used for public viewing of the eclipse.
We will have safe solar telescopes on the 1,800 sq-ft observatory patio. People should only bring their telescopes IF they are equipped for safe solar viewing.
****In case of inclement weather, the special event may be cancelled.
