An SLAS member will discuss how to safely view and where to go to see the upcoming April 8th solar eclipse, which be total from very close to Freeburg.  Weather permitting, telescope viewing of the planet Jupiter and other objects will follow this presentation.

Would you like to learn more about the upcoming solar eclipse?  It will be total from very close to Freeburg- there won't be another such event until 2044.  A member of the St. Louis Astronomical Society will discuss where to go and how to safely view this rare event.  Weather permitting, free telescope viewing of the planet Jupiter and other objects will follow this presentation.
