The "Gateway to the Stars" program is a unique opportunity to showcase our club and St. Louis to visitors from around the world.  

We setup at the Arch Main Entrance Plaza where the traffic flow is the heaviest. The park issues a limited number of parking placards that allow volunteers to park on the north side of Market St., just west of Memorial Dr., adjacent to the Plaza.  This is less than 100 yards from the viewing area making access very convenient and easy.  SLAS member and NPS Ranger Rich Fefferman will give a Stellarium talk in the Education Classroom at 7 pm, inside the Visitor Center.
