Join the members of the St. Louis Astronomical Society and the St. Louis Science Center for an evening of telescope viewing. There will be a FREE "Sky Tonight" presentation in the Orthwein Starbay - McDonnell Planetarium starting at 7:00 PM. The "Sky Tonight" program will be held regardless of the weather. Doors open for "Sky Tonight" at 6:45pm in McDonnell Planetarium.

On May 2, 2014, Sunset: 19:54; Civil twilight ends: 20:23; Astronomical twilight ends: 21:35; a 15% illuminated crescent moon sets at 23:15; at 8pm, Mercury is extremely low in the WNW; Jupiter is high in the W; Mars is low in the SE.
