Mercury Transit of the Sun

The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association (TAAA) and Pima County Natural Resources will have an event to view the Transit of Mercury across the Sun. The event will take place at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park on Monday November 11, 2019 (Veterans Day) at Ramda A. The Transit will be in progress at Sunrise. TAAA will have solar telesopces set up to safely observe the event starting at 8 am and going until event completion about 11 am.
