Members of the Astronomical Society of New Haven and the Thames Amateur Astronomical Society will have their telescopes set up to show you some of the best objects in the autumn sky. If the skies are clear, we will be able to see Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, nebulae, the Andromeda Galaxy, and many more fascinating objects in deep space.
Bring binoculars if you have them so you can do your own exploring in between looks through the big telescopes. If you bring a flashlight, please cover it with red cellophane or red plastic to preserve everyone’s night vision.
Date: Saturday, 10/14/2023
Time: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM Eastern
Location: Hammonasset Beach State Park, Hammonasset Beach State Park, 1288 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT 06443
