Event

Please join us at the Paul Morgan Observatory on the UCC Campus on Friday, August 30th at 8:30pm for an event where everyone is welcome. The PMO telescopes will be capturing and displaying images from star clusters, galaxies, nebulae, and Saturn. And astronomers keep looking at star T Corona Borealis which is expected to go nova any day now. Learn where to look for it.

Did you know there are two types of nebulae? One type are HUGE dust clouds where stars are formed. The other type are planetary nebulae that are remnants of a star that has gone supernova in the distant past. Both types will be shown at the event.

Hope you can attend and that skies are clear. Dress warm and bring your own blanket and/or chairs for seating.
