(per message from Dawn):  Hashawha and Bear Branch are beginning to fundraiser for a new aviary at the park. Unfortunately, the current one is falling into disrepair, has no electricity, and lacks space to properly store supplies.

BBNC staff is planning a Rock for the Raptors event for the summer. This would be an event inviting local bands to play at the park, possibly have food trucks, silent auction, and meet some of the raptors! All proceeds would go to the aviary fund for the raptors.
