I'm a children's librarian at the Finksburg branch and I'm doing a story time under the stars on Wednesday 10/28/26 at 6:30pm. I was wondering if anyone would be available to come out after the story time and use our telescopes that were donated by David Ocallaghan to show the participants some cool stuff in the sky? I was trained on the telescopes but remember having trouble getting them to rotate and could use some expert assistance. The age range for the program is 3-8 years old so it would need to be a very basic demonstration of the telescopes. I'm thinking the outside part of the story time would happen around 7pm.
Thanks much,
Barbara Weber
