Eclipse Ambassador session - 12:15-12:45p
3 break out sessions for Daisies, Brownies & Juniors, led by older girl scouts Cadettes & up - we assist if/as needed (watch how good they do!) & provide solar scope viewing at end.

CLUB MEMBERS:  
-bring solar viewing scopes and/or scopes to show & tell starting ~1:45 (earlier for parents/leaders waiting during sessions
-see what some of the 'canned' astronomy day exhibits & activities look like/how they work

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Organizers set up for a park pavilion - well it was cold, rained more than an inch and the wind kicked up. We put up tarps with ropes as wind breaks and kept it short and interactive to keep them engaged and get done sooner. There were lots of take home items so their time could be extended in warmth.
