Join us Saturday February 8th, 7pm and 8pm, at Bear Branch Nature Center for the WASI monthly planetarium show! We'll be watching a movie about the Parker Solar Probe and talking about what they might discover as well as what we already know so far. We'll also talk about time travel!! What does it mean that distances are so vast in the universe that what we are looking at is ... the past!

Join us after the Planetarium show for our public star party! Many WASI members will be present with their telescopes and you can view various celestial objects and talk with excited amateur astronomers about what we can see in the heavens.

Dress warmly and bring your curiosity!

The STAR PARTY does NOT require pre-registration and is FREE to the public!!
Join us the 2nd Saturday of every month for a public star party (follows Planetarium show when available); weather permitting.  Outreach program may be available in event of clouds.

MEMBERS:  We need scopes & members indoors for demo after the planetarium show, and outside for the star party.
