This is an annual 'lock in' of middle & high school girl scouts.  This is a private star party for them (~125 girls and dozens of adult chaperones/facilitators).

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
As a girl-led event for planning, they specified they did not want indoor programming, just the telescopes set up outside, rain or shine. We reached out to our next door club as well since they service that area as well and had 4 scopes from our club and 3 from our sister club. To have a target for viewing, I posted a Nat. Geo poster of the moon on the side of the building and had scopes focus on that. There were actually a few wows!
