We'll have our May meeting on Wednesday the 11th from 6:30-8pm at the Missoula Public Library in spectrUM’s classroom, room 134 on the 1st floor. We’ll be spending our meeting chatting about best practices for outreach to the public about astronomy, and get our hands on some activities - should be quite fun! Our summer requests for outreach are heating up, and spectrUM has a project called Mission to Mars that connects astronomy clubs with local organizations which we’re hoping to have club member help with.  If you’ve ever wanted to help at our outreach events but have been intimidated, this is for you. And if it doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, feel free to join anyways just to come and enjoy the company of fellow club members. We’ll also set the date for our fun June potluck!
