Greetings! My name is Jennifer McDowell and I am the Director of Education at Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield. Our Education team would love to collaborate with Warren Rupp Observatory to possibly provide an educational program in February about the solar eclipse. We could work together on content, but perhaps explaining the science of an eclipse, what to expect, how to safely view and photograph, etc.

Time: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Eastern

Information for Visitors
Instructions for the Public:
If we hosted this program on a weekend, we could offer the time in late morning or early afternoon. We are flexible on content (if there are particular programs already developed about the eclipse) dates, times, and length of program. If the Observatory wanted to include the StarLab and offer the program for more of a family audience, we would prefer offering the program on a weekend afternoon.
