Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Lisa, Andy, Coriden, and George participated in the annual Shades Chautauqua in the afternoon. Although it rained on the way there, the sun came out just in time for us to show sunspots to the attendees. We also did some hiking between the afternoon and night activities. Ominous forecasts notwithstanding, the sky was beautiful for night observing. We probably had 50-60 campers join us until late at night. Thousands of fireflies glittered against the darkness of the woods.
