As part of the International Year of Astronomy 2009, the Night Sky Network (NSN) will be adding some new and exciting features to our website to help you find what you want when you want it.

If you've come to this NASA Night Sky Network webpage before or not, just wait 'til you see what this new improved website can do for you starting December 1st!

Our new online services will allow you to save time requesting an event for your group.

You'll be able to:

  • find your local astronomy club
  • check out your local astronomy club calendar (for this month and future months)
  • request an event
  • know where a star party is being held
  • no guesswork if an event is cancelled due to weather conditions
