You can schedule your club's events on the NSN calendar ahead of time to make event reporting easier. We ran a contest earlier this year to encourage clubs to do just that! Prizes of NASA Cassini retro poster sets were awarded to ten lucky clubs whose 2018 events were selected at random. The Astronomical Society of the Toms River won the grand prize: an ultra-portable OneSky Telescope from Astronomers Without Borders!

Check out the winners below. Congratulations to everyone!

Delmarva Stargazers (Event: Star Gaze XXV -Star Party on 2018-05-10)
Star City Astronomy Network (Event: RSP Astronomy Observing on 2018-08-15)
Treasure Coast Astronomical Society (Event: IRSC Planetarium on 2018-03-09)
Los Angeles Astronomical Society (Event: Garvey Nights on 2018-10-24)
Community Observatory (Event: Public Viewing (Free) on 2018-07-15)
Mount Diablo Astronomical Society (Event: Observatory Maintenance on 2018-02-03)
St. George Astronomy Group (Event: Club Meeting on 2018-05-08)
Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association (Event: Solar Observing-Saguaro National Park East on 2018-03-24)
Boeing Employees' Astronomical Society (Event: BEAS Monthly Meeting for August 2018 on 2018-08-10)
South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association (Event: Member Trek on 2018-01-19)
Astronomical Society of the Toms River Area  (Event: ASTRA March Meeting on 2018-03-09)

Even if your club had events scheduled for 2018 and didn't win a prize this time around, your clubs events are still up in the calendar for members and folks near you to find. Plus, since your events are now already in the NSN system, it will be a breeze to report on how your cubs; outreach went, along with any NSN materials that were used, via the NSN log reporting system. And those logged events will help to qualify  your club again for quarterly prize drawings as well as new toolkits shipments as 2018 rolls on!
