Did you know that the Night Sky Network has a built-in search function that can filter results for news articles, resources, events, and even individual clubs? It's been tucked away in the upper right-hand corner of your screen for quite some time! The "Site Search" option is essential if you spend a lot of time on the site!

The next time you want to find something on the Night Sky Network website - say, a favorite outreach activity - click on "Site Search" in the upper right hand corner. You will be brought to a page where you can enter in your search terms, and filter results based on type: News & Features, Outreach Resources, Astronomy Events, and Astronomy Clubs. IF you don't select an option, it will search "All": everything on the site. That may return a lot of results, maybe too many! But don't worry - if you forget to filter in advance, you can filter result afterwards by switching between the grey tabs in the results.

The NSN's search function, while very handy, is still a bit limited, so for best results, keep your search terms as simple and possible and add in terms if you need to then further trim down the number of results.

Happy searching!
