Perennial Astronomy Articles for Newsletters
- 01/08/2018
Many astronomy topics come up over and over again. To help, we have compiled a list of our own frequently updated articles about common astronomy topics asked of amateur astronomers for your use! Topics include meteor showers, supermoons, identifying UFOs, working with astronomy clubs, telescope information, citizen science programs, observing programs, stargazing tips, light pollution, and many more! You can find the initial list here: https://nightsky.jpl.nasa.gov/news/349/
Additionally, you can find past issues of Night Sky Notes articles here: bit.ly/NightSkyNotesArticles
You can add these articles to your own club's newsletters, and even edit them with additional information and illustrations that your audience may find useful. We just ask that you give credit at the end to the NASA Night Sky Network and author (if specified), and a link to our website: science.nasa.gov/skywatching/night-sky-network/
If you have any feedback, be it suggestions for additional topics, corrections, or anything else, please let us know at nightskyinfo@astrosociety.org
More topics will be added over time, so come back now and again to see the latest updates.
