Star Maps are an excellent way to find your way around the night sky. Here we have three different topics, showing unique features. Want to find a planet, a star destined for supernova status, or a black hole? Use one of these maps to help you locate some wonderful phenomena.

Want to know what's up in our Solar System? Use a star map and mark the current locations of the planets and Moon along the ecliptic. You can also download just the handouts of these star maps to distribute to your visitors as well. Check the location of the planets this month with the link below.

Want to know more about the life and death of the largest stars? Check out the Supernova and Black Hole Star Maps below.

To locate stars in the sky, hold the map above your head and orient it so that one of the four direction labels matches the direction you’re facing. The map will then represent what you see in the sky.

The all-sky maps represent the night sky as seen from approximately 35° north latitude at different times and dates throughout the year.
