All members of the public are invited to attend; this is an event open to everyone, held in the summit parking lot at Pilot Mountain State Park. The park will be open later than normal, so spend a few hours looking up at the night sky by using Forsyth Astronomical Society members' telescopes. Enjoy the breathtaking views! The event is fun for the young and old alike, and is a good family outing.
This is a weather dependent event. A final weather call will be made the day before. Check the club’s Facebook page or website for updates.
**VISBILITY** We will have red light luminaries in use to help you find each telescope location and navigate the parking lot steps in the dark.
