CAAS is one of the Mid-South's outstanding Astronomy Societies. This reflects the diverse spectrum of its membership, from casual sky watchers to amateur and even professional astronomers powering its member and outreach activities.  If you live in central Arkansas, you should join us, either as a guest at a public event, or as a member.  Monthly club meetings are open to the public and held at the Society's oberving site, while public star parties and presentations are sponsored in various locals during the year. Membership is open to the public at any level of interest or experience and membership offers the opportunity to participate in sustaining the Society's activities.
