Tulare Astronomical Association

About Us

The Tulare Astronomical Association (TAA) was founded in 1967 to help our members, as well as the general public, enrich their knowledge of astronomy and appreciation of the night sky. The TAA is made up of people that love astronomy, our members come from across Tulare County and surrounding areas.

We hold monthly online meetings to discuss astronomy topics and plan TAA activities / public outreach. Our monthly observing sessions are held at our Arthur Pursell Observatory, located at 9242 Avenue 184, Tulare, CA 93274.

We hope that you will become a member and join us in our astronomical journeys. The TAA is a nonprofit organization. We depend solely upon contributions from individuals and annual membership dues to cover our expenses. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
