There have been a lot of changes at the Paul Morgan Observatory in the last few years and Friday night will be an opportunity to come to PMO and see the latest equipment, building, and landscaping improvements. There is a new, personal backyard dome observatory complete with telescope and tracking mount as well as a new storage building. There are some new telescopes, cameras, and a projector and screen that combine to really improve the viewing experience. And recently UCC facilities has removed the trees that blocked the view to the southwest and Doug's wife Sandy has put her personal touch on making the grounds more appealling. And the night would not be complete viewing some deep sky objects.
So, if you can please come to PMO from 7:00pm to 8:00pm or maybe a little later on Friday, February 28th. It has been a while since we have all met in person and it will be a good opportunity to reconnect and share in the wealth of the upgrades to PMO.
Hope you can make it.
