SLAS will hold a dark sky session at Whiteside Conservation Area on Wednesday, Oct 22, 2025. 

Comet Lemmon is not bright but should be easy in binoculars and small telescopes. 

Sunset is at 6:15pm, and twilight ends at 7:42pm, so try to arrive around that time

Bring warm clothes, chairs, binoculars. If you have telescopes and cameras please feel free to bring them

 

We will set up in the eastern most parking lot, follow directions in this post
