Telescope Help Night

Did you get a telescope for Christmas?

Whether Christmas past, present or future, if you have a telescope you need  help with, come to the Rooker Library for Telescope Help Night on January 15. Or, if you have a telescope you want to show off, bring it and show others your favorite celestial objects. Jupiter and all four of its moons will be a grand sight that evening!

(And as always, outside viewing is weather dependent.)

Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Thursday night at the Rooker Library was the Telescope Help Night. The Librarian came in and thanked us for having programs at their facility, saying the patrons really enjoyed them. This compliment was significant to note that it doesn’t take a large crowd to have a successful event. We had six club members attend and seven visitors. Some brought telescopes. Some came to ask about the club and find out what kind of people we are. From this reporter’s impressions with conversations, people were happy with our help, and had a good time looking at Jupiter before the clouds came in.
