Mt. Diablo State Park staff have scheduled a Volunteer Orientation in April. There will be two sessions;

• Wednesday, April 22, 6:30 to 8:30 pm (online session via Zoom)
• Saturday, April 25, 10:00 to 11:00am in-person at Macedo Ranch Staging Area.

The Park requires this training for anyone taking a telescope to share views with the public on the mountain in our Public Astronomy Program.

MDAS members who do not yet have this training are encouraged to take this opportunity, and join the fun sharing interests in astronomy with the public attending our Public Astronomy Program.
