Title: Art Night on the Moon – Drawing Lunar Craters with Our President and Emperor: Ken Spencer
Event Info:
Get ready for a night of creativity, camaraderie, and craters! Please join us on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, for a very special and fun-filled evening hosted by our very own President and Emperor, Ken Spencer.
Have you ever wanted to sketch the rugged beauty of the lunar surface but didn't know where to start? This is your chance! Ken will guide us through a relaxed, no-pressure art session focused on capturing the magnificent craters of our closest celestial neighbor.
No artistic experience is required – this is about having fun, observing carefully, and seeing the Moon in a whole new way. Whether you're a seasoned sketcher or someone who struggles with stick figures, you are welcome.
What to Bring: Just Your enthusiasm!
Ken will provide everything people need, reference images of lunar craters, along with tips on how to observe and translate their shadows, ridges, and depths onto paper. It's a wonderful way to slow down, truly see the details, and appreciate the Moon as an artist.
Come for the fun, stay for the community, and leave with your very own lunar masterpiece. We look forward to seeing you there!
Clear skies (and steady hands)!
